"Grey's Anatomy."

Say the name and millions of hearts across the country break thinking of all the fictional deaths, real heartache, and the fictional-but-real-in-our-mind relationships that were destined to fail from the beginning. "Grey's Anatomy" is one of the longest running shows on TV, and it is probably one of the best. It mixes drama and medicine, with a little bit of comic relief. It is a beautiful show full of terribly devastating and incredibly beautiful moments that, when mixed together, creates a deeply moving storyline; one that almost drove me to become a biology major, just so I could go to medical school and become the next Meredith Grey and/or Cristina Yang. Here is a mix of my favorite inspirational, beautiful, and heartbreaking quotes from Grey's Anatomy.

1. "Don't let what he wants eclipse what you need. He's very dreamy, but he's not the sun. You are!" - Cristina Yang

2. "If you aren't willing to keep looking for light in the darkest of places without stopping, even when it seems impossible, you will never succeed." - Amelia Shepherd

3. "If you love someone, you tell them. Even if you're scared that it's not the right thing. Even if you're scared that it'll cause problems. Even if you're scared that it will burn your life to the ground, you say it, and you say it loud and you go from there." - Mark Sloan

4. "Did you say it? 'I love you.' 'I don't ever want to live without you.' 'You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then look around. Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow." -Meredith Grey

5. Knowing is better than wondering. Walking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beats the hell out of never trying." - Meredith Grey

6. "Have some fire. Be unstoppable. Be a force of nature. Be better than anyone here and don't give a damn about what anyone thinks." - Cristina Yang

7. "Sometimes it's good to be scared. It means you still have something to lose." - Richard Webber

8. "If there's an upside to free-falling, it's the chance you give your friends to catch you." - Meredith Grey

9. "And people can be broken, sure, but any surgeon knows, what's broken can be mended. What's hurt can be healed. That no matter how dark it gets, the sun's going to rise again." - Meredith Grey

10. "At some point you just have to go, move on. Because no matter how painful it is, it's the only way we grow." - Meredith Grey

11. "There are moments...moments that in a split second your life changes forever, and before you know it...you're somewhere else." - Derek Shepherd

12. "Pick me...choose me...love me." - Meredith Grey

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
