My True Love (At The Moment) Is Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel can be seen lining many interstates and highways. That sign is a comfort to me and lets me know comfort isn't too far away. Right now, my love for Cracker Barrel is through the roof. I think I could eat it every single day and never get tired of it. Since I have this obsession, I thought I should dedicate an article to Cracker Barrel and a few of the reasons why I love it so much.

1. Chicken N' Dumplings

My favorite dish.

2. Granny's cooking whenever you want it

Sunday lunch every day of the week.

3. Front porch rockin'

4. And front porch (and indoors) checkers playing

Schooling my little brothers since day one.

5. Random, but amazing gift shop

I even bought apartment decorations there.

6. Every candy ever imagined

Candy from today and from your parents' childhood all under one roof.

7. Unique gifts just found there and nowhere else

Clothes to decorations to shoes, they have it all.

8. A homey feel

9. The peg game to pass the time (that I can never get right)

10. The endless variety of comfort food

11. Breakfast all day, every day

12. The tiny syrup bottles

13. Biscuits AND cornbread

The best of both worlds.

14. Those yummy, better than your mama's desserts

15. Again, CHICKEN N' DUMPLINS

He is totally right.

While some girls may fancy Olive Garden or Starbucks, I am always up for Cracker Barrel. Maybe it is the southerner coming out in me, but there is nothing like a plate of comfort food and some rocking afterwards. The simple things. So shout out to the creator of Cracker Barrel for giving this girl a love for a restaurant.

But I guess a man in a Cracker Barrel shirt wouldn't be so bad.

A bad day at the lake is still better than a good day not at the lake.

You know the best beaches and coves to go to.

Doing the friendly wave to every boat you pass.

The cooler is always packed, mostly with beer.

Giving the idiot who goes 30 in a "No Wake Zone" a piece of your mind.
