Last December, I visited one of the most incredible cities in the world, Dubai! Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time there but in the couple days I did have I did a lot!
Day 1:
The day we landed was of course very exhausting because we’d be on the plane for a long time. We went straight to the hotel, checked in, and freshened up. It was pretty late and we were all starving, so we went for dinner at an Indo-Pak restaurant called Barbecue Delight. The area it was located in is called JBR where there are tons of restaurants and shopping.
Day 2:
The next day, we spent the entire day shopping at the Dubai Mall which was attached to our hotel! We had lunch at Shake Shack and just walked around for hours. Since we slept in that morning, we lost some our day and woke up straight in the afternoon.
Day 3:
I also recommend visiting Global Village! It’s only open from October through April because in the summer, it’s too hot outside. Global Village is a park that displays over a dozen different countries as you enter and exit each one learning what their cultures and specialties are! There are markets, shows, restaurants, and a variety of little carts with random little snacks. It’s very well built and absolutely beautiful!
Other places I’ve visited in Dubai are the Atlantis Hotel, Burj Al Arab, Emirates Mall, Safari, The Marina and lots more!
I personally love Dubai because the culture is completely different as it’s a mix of Arab and Western! The shopping, food, beach, and architecture of the buildings is fascinating and something you definitely would enjoy seeing at least once in your life.
