Enthralling, captivating, intriguing; New Japan Professional Wrestling has officially cemented their place as the top wrestling promotion in the world, finally escaping the shadows of their North American rivals: World Wrestling Entertainment.

For those unfamiliar with NJPW, they are a traditional Japanese brand with a focus on expansion, especially in the United States, with their $9.99 a month New Japan World streaming service allowing fans everywhere to see quite frankly the best wrestling in the world. This years G1 was highly anticipated by the entire wrestling world, with surprising returns, hyped rematches, and a plethora of the world's top prospects.

The G1 Climax is a month long round robin wrestling tournament, with most participants working a grueling 20 matches throughout the month. Whoever wins receives a contract to challenge the International Wrestling Grand Prix Heavyweight Champions in the main event of their largest show: Wrestle Kingdom. After FINALLY fixing my sleep schedule, which included alarm clocks to 3 am, here are my 2 favorite G1 Climax moments.

1. Kenny Omega VS Kazuchika Okada 3

This third spot could have gone to a plethora of matches, from the surprise of Kenny Omega versus Juice Robinson, the Final, Kenny Omega versus Tetsuya Naito and the hard hitting massacre of a match: Minoru Suzuki versus Kazuchika Okada.

However, the trilogy of the Omega Okada saga undoubtedly takes the cake. With their first two matches shattering the wrestling landscape, controversially receiving a 6 and 6.25 rating on the Wrestling Observers 5 star rating system, many were left asking, "What magic can be produced next?"

Okada and Omega then produced another 6 star match, their shortest encounter at 25 minutes, but one filled with hard hitting action, a genius story, and spots for days. From the beginning we were introduced to the fast paced Japanese action we have come to expect from these two, as they continued to hint at their respective finishing maneuvers.

In the end, Omega picked up his first win against his Japanese rival, building up a story for yet another anticipated encounter.

2. THANK YOU BLUE JUSTICE!!

Yugi Nagata has always been a fan favorite, his famous "Blue Justice" chants a common soothing noise throughout every event he wrestles in. The legendary 49 year old had his final G1 Climax tournament this year, and in traditional pro wrestling precedent, he lost all but one fight.

However, the most moving moment was easily his final match against Bad Luck Fale. For those unfamiliar with Bad Luck Fale, he is NJPW's resident scumbag bully, who was trained by Nagata when he was younger.

After defeating his old master, he shocking bowed and left the ring, letting Yugi Nagata enjoy his final moments. The legend began to tear up, crying as the crowd chanted "BLUE JUSTICE" one last time.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
