*Warning, this article will contain spoilers from Deadpool 2. So if you haven’t seen it yet, you should definitely go do that and read this article later. Sorry not sorry.

I went to the movies this past week and saw Deadpool 2. Absolutely loved it! I haven’t really been to the movies in a few years because of that one big movie theatre shooting in Colorado during a Batman movie in 2012 that injured over 70 people and 12 more died from it. It’s just something that’s kind of stuck with me. Any public place isn’t as safe as it used to be. I saw this guy walk in when it was dark and he was sitting by himself but in the middle of the theatre room. He looked kind of sketchy but I didn’t say anything. After the movie was over and everyone was leaving I found out he had a younger daughter that was there too. But strangely enough, it was kind of difficult for me to enjoy a movie and clear my mind because I’m one of those people that has to always plan and think out their next move. So I was thinking, “it’s really dark in here. Where are the emergency exits just in case? At least I’m sitting on the end of a row.” It was like my mind just couldn’t shut down. But anyways let’s talk about Deadpool 2.

So if you’re still reading this article and decided to spoil the movie for yourself then continue reading. So Deadpool is played by the actor Ryan Reynolds who everybody I know is absolutely in love with. And just in case you literally have no idea who this Deadpool guy is, he's a character in the Marvel universe who is hyperaware to everything going on around him, lowkey insane but get's away with it because of his humor. He just has an "I don't give a crap" kind of attitude. Deadpool has a special ability of a superhuman healing factor derived from the mutant Wolverine that allows him to regenerate several limbs and vital organs at the same time. So he basically never dies.

Deadpool 2 has so many hilarious and also kind of sad quotes that are worth memorizing. Here’s a couple of quotes that I remember off of the top of my head:

Vanessa: Kiss me like you miss me red.
Cable: I guess dubstep never dies.
Domino: I’m lucky.
Deadpool: Luck isn’t a superpower. And certainly not very cinematic.
Domino: Yes, it is.
Deadpool: Let’s meet in the middle and say, “No, it isn’t.”
Deadpool: We’ll be known as the X-Force.
Domino: Isn’t that a little derivative?
Deadpool: You’re absolutely right.
Cable: I got two charges. One to get me here, one to get me home.
Deadpool: Well, that’s just lazy writing.
Deadpool: Any powers you wanna tell us about?
Peter: No, I don’t have one. Um, I just saw the ad and I thought it looked fun.
Deadpool: ….. You’re in.
Wade: I loved her. I loved her like an ocean loves water.
Weasel: An ocean is water.

Deadpool 2 definitely has a lot of emotions going on that’s like someone stabbing your heart with a knife and then twisting it. Everyone thought Wade was going to die because of the cancer because when he was in the jail and he lost his superpowers. I knew deep down there was no way he was gonna die in the second movie, there’s gonna be like 8 more movies because Marvel is making way too much money off of Deadpool.

The first movie was setting up the character and gives some background history of his life. But the second movie dives even further into Wade's life. I absolutely love the Deadpool series and I honestly can't wait for the third movie to come to theaters. I 10/10 recommend Deadpool 2!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
