My Summer Bucket List

With classes ending all I want to do is go home and relax with my dogs and my friends.

We have finally made it through the school year and now we have three months of freedom. These are just some ideas that I have for this summer and some things that I do every summer.

Re-do my room.

My sister and I got the idea to switch rooms over the summer and I've decided that with that I'm going to redo how I organize everything and try something new.

Get two bigger sized canvases.

I have had the idea to put my artistic side to the test and it would be a fun way to de-stress after finals.

Go cruising!

When you live in a small town, you have to go cruising and summer nights are one of the best times to do so.

Have and go to bonfires with my friends.

There is a group of us that will get together at one of our houses and just catch up with each other.

Catch up on and see movies that came out this summer.

Make money again.

I worked last summer and I really like where I was working and what I was doing so I'm happy that I get to do that again.

Have a summer photoshoot.

Go swimming!

Give the dogs a bath.

I know this one will not be fun, but it needs to be done. They hate bath time and the summer is the easiest time to actually give them a bath.

Reteach myself guitar.

Buy some plants.

I have a very hard time keeping plants alive and I'm trying to get better at that. If anyone has tips let me know! My Instagram is @theericat and my Twitter is @erica_2021.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.

A bad day at the lake is still better than a good day not at the lake.

You know the best beaches and coves to go to.

You have no patience for the guy who can't back his trailer into the water right.

Doing the friendly wave to every boat you pass.

The cooler is always packed, mostly with beer.

Giving the idiot who goes 30 in a "No Wake Zone" a piece of your mind.
