When I took Principles of Photojournalism during Fall Semester 2016, I thought I’d repeat that F that I got in Art I in high school. I’ve never had the eye for visual art, and the majority of the photos I take are like drive-by shootings where I just quickly and discreetly snap a photo on my iPhone.
To prevent myself from dropping the class, I spent $500 on a spiffy Nikon DSLR. It turned out to be money well spent because the class has let me get reacquainted with my creativity, something that I’ve lost touch with while sludging through college for the past three years.
