The Law of Attraction: My New Motivation

Up until about a month ago, I was not familiar with the law of attraction and all its elements. Also, I am not greatly involved in religion; I am, however, VERY spiritual. I 100% believe in God, a higher being. I also believe in good and bad energy and karma, the positive and negative kind. When I came across the "law of attraction" theory, I was quite curious.

I've always believed that if you stay focused on what you want and actively work toward it, it will come. Little did I know that I was practicing the rules of a theory I had no idea about.

There is a specific list of things I want to accomplish in my lifetime, most are before I even reach the age of 30. (I know they may happen after that). I become so excited just thinking of it. Being able to travel often, having stable finances, and multiple incomes are my ultimate goals in life. You can imagine that when I started to learn more about the law of attraction, my optimistic attitude increased drastically!

I am a dreamer, thinking of my success motivates me to keep working toward it. Over the past few weeks now, I have read several articles about the law of attraction and viewed videos. It feels great to know that simply believing, wanting and wishing for something could come if you have enough faith. The law of attraction has changed my life within a short amount of time, and I am grateful for the change. Mentally, I have taken a step up. My beliefs and thoughts are no longer limited. I am more confident in what I do.

Some may think, "how can she base her entire confidence and faithfulness on a theory?" THIS is not the case. However, it gave me a huge boost. It shook me up inside; it made me realize that fear and doubt is my worst enemy. Instead of being of afraid of something I probably haven't even tried, flip it into drive! Go for it, BELIEVE in it, instead of running away from it. The power is in my hands; I am my own competition.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
