This letter is dedicated to the man who won't just love me on the outside but will love me so much more on the inside. This is dedicated to the man who will understand every part of me and will do so with consideration. This is dedicated to the man who will hold my hand and I'll know that it's the perfect fit, like it was made just for me. This is dedicated to the man who will always be there for me, the man who won't want to lose me, the man who will see me as his world, and the man who means what he says. This letter is dedicated to my king, my love, my sweetheart, my blessing that God will send me and my soulmate, who is the one for me. But most of all... this letter is dedicated to my one and only, future husband.

Dear Future Husband,

I have to honestly admit it, my heart has been broken many times in the past. There have been moments when I told myself "maybe relationships aren't for me" or "I don't want to fall in love again," all because I have experienced the hurt, the sadness, the tears and the broken.

However, you are the person I won't be able to help falling in love with because it's a beautiful and unstoppable force. As time passes, I've become wiser and I know that there is someone out there who is right for me. I also have been learning exactly what I want in a man and it's someone who is considerate, understanding and supportive.

I have not experienced love at first sight, but I always wanted to know what it feels like. I hope that once I take my first glance at you, time will stop around us and our hearts will beat faster than the workers making Jimmy John's sandwiches.

I want to be able to look into your eyes as you look into mine, not being able to look away. It might seem like the start of a fairy tale, but I want it to be our own. The only difference is that our fairy tale is not a fantasy, it's a reality that I want to share with you.

At nights, I pray for you. I pray to God and tell him to keep you healthy, happy and safe. I may not know what color your eyes are or who you look like as a person, but it doesn't matter to me because God writes everyone's love story and he knows exactly who I am praying for, even if I don't know your name.

Whenever he is ready, he will either send you my way or he will send me your way. No matter which way he chooses, I will thank him for sending me a man that I dream of having.

I promise that I will love you with all of my heart and soul. I promise that I will be by your side and support your efforts as I hope you do with mine.

Lastly, I promise that I won't hurt you because I know exactly how it feels and love shouldn't hurt. I hope that we will have so many amazing memories together. I hope that we will look at the stars together and talk about life. I hope that when we first make eye contact, we will smile at each other. I hope that you will hold me close through the good and bad times. I hope that you will put me first as I will do the same for you. I hope that we will work out everything and not give up on each other.

And finally...

I hope that I will be in your heart, always. ♡

With all of my love,

Your Future Wife

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
