Year Round Drinks

1. Pike Place Roast

Plain and simple, just a basic black coffee, not too strong, but strong enough to get you up and moving for sure.

2. Skinny Vanilla Latte

I'm a big fan of vanilla flavored coffee so it's one of my favorites plus the skinny means no sweetener added so it's not super sweet.

3. Caramel Macchiato

I like caramel, but not excessively so when I do get it, it's when I want something warm and sweet! The upside down iced caramel macchiato is also amazing for those who prefer iced coffee.

4. Frappuccinos

I rarely ever get fraps, mostly because they're very heavy and don't have enough coffee in them. But when I do, I love to order the caramel, green tea, white chocolate mocha, and vanilla bean frappuccinos.

5. White Chocolate Mocha

I have recently fallen in love with this drink because it's not too flavorful nor is it too sweet. I like this hot, never tried it iced.

6. Iced Green Tea Lemonade

I love this drink in the summer when I need something cool and refreshing

Seasonal Drinks

1. Pumpkin Spice Latte

Call me basic all you what, I can't lie, I love this drink and look forward to it every year! I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin, but this drink stole my heart. It doesn't have an extreme pumpkin taste it's actually just the right amount of pumpkin in my opinion.

2. Iced Peach Green Tea

The perfect blend of sweet and refreshing! It's one of my favorites for when I'm in the mood for something yummy that isn't coffee.

3. Berry Sangria Herbal Tea

I think this one is more of an acquired taste because the first time I tried it, I wasn't a fan, but now I'm in love with it! Super berry flavor with a hint of orange, it's great.

4. Coconut Mocha Frappuccino

Super hard to find because they always say they don't have it, but I promise you it's worth asking at every Starbucks location. I hate mocha flavored drinks, but the coconut overpowers the mocha and tastes absolutely amazing!

5. Iced Mango Black Tea

I also love this tea because it's not overwhelmingly sweet, and I love anything involving mango!

I hope I've given you a list of drinks and you'll go try them on your next visit to Starbucks. Let me know your favorite drinks in the comment section!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
