My Current Thoughts On Psychic Mediums

Are psychic mediums real?

My Current Thoughts On Psychic Mediums

I had an entirely different idea for my article this week, but then mediums just kept popping up everywhere. A "medium" is a person who communicates with those who have crossed over, also known as "psychic mediums."

It started with clips from the Hollywood Medium showing up on my Youtube feed. From there I started seeing clips showcasing various other mediums' abilities; Matt Fraser, Teresa Caputo, Monica Ten-Kate.

First, I'd like to say I'm not sure if I believe in mediums or not. I will, however, say I believe in spirits. I believe in signs from my loved ones who have passed away. I believe in guardian angels.

For me, I think that these believes are a part of me coping with my own grief. Secondly, I've gone through different phases in my life where I have been interested in the shows surrounding psychic mediums and then I eventually fall out of interest in them.

Currently, I have moved on from random YouTube clips to Monica The Medium, which was a show on Freeform for a couple of seasons starring Monica Ten-Kate. I could kind of care less about all of the "normal" parts of her life that the show presents, such as dating and living with roommates; however, watching her give a reading is very intriguing.

Like I said, I don't know what I believe. I don't know if it is a scam or not, but I know that these parts of the show move me emotionally. I wish that I could talk to my loved ones, even if it was "fake." Are there scammers out there? For sure. Are there people out there who can really do this? I'm not sure, but I hope so.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
