If you have an Instagram account or if you have ever been on the internet, you probably know all about Taylor Swift and her posse of insanely talented friends. Most of these friends are either Victoria’s Secret models, actors, or singers. She posts pictures with them constantly. Whether they’re having sleepovers at Taylor’s New York City apartment or appearing in her "Bad Blood" music video, this group is definitely one I’d like to be a part of. Taylor’s celebrity group of friends inspired me to think about what celebrities I’d like to make up my group of friends. Enjoy this list of all the powerful females I'd like to be friends with.
Demi Lovato
Demi has been one of my favorite singers ever since she first appeared in the Disney Channel original movie "Camp Rock". 13-year-old me thought she was the coolest person ever. She can sing, dance, act, and she dated Joe Jonas. Today, she’s still pretty awesome. She’s still good friends with Nick Jonas, so having her in my group of friends would definitely help me fulfill my dream of marrying him.
Lily Collins
Every group of friends needs one member with really great eyebrows. I’d like Lily Collins to be that person. Not only does she have great eyebrows, but she’s also an amazing actress. She’s the double threat this group needs.
Sophia Bush
If you know me, you know that "One Tree Hill" is my favorite TV show of all time. There’s no way I could make this list without including one of the show’s star actresses. Sophia just seems like an all-around great person. She’s constantly doing activist work and spreading female empowerment.
Emma Stone
Emma seems like she’s laid back. She would be the friend who’s easy to hang out with and could keep me company on impromptu trips to Target to buy Sour Patch Kids. As an added bonus, even though she is a natural blonde, she often dyes her hair red, and every successful friend group needs at least one ginger.
Selena Gomez
Even though Selena is technically already in Taylor’s posse, I think my group is definitely a better fit. First of all, it includes her childhood best friend Demi Lovato. Even though the two seem to have grown apart over the years, I could give them the push they need to rekindle their friendship. I also think I could probably get her back together with Justin Bieber, which we all know is what the people want.
Cassadee Pope
If you don’t know who Cassadee Pope is, she won the popular singing competition show "The Voice" in 2012. Since then, she’s gone on to be an extremely successful country singer. Before winning "The Voice", Cassadee was the lead singer of one of my favorite bands, Hey Monday. She’s been one of my role models for a while now. After she won "The Voice", I had the opportunity to meet her, and she is one of the nicest people ever. I only cried a little bit.
Vanessa Hudgens
This list may be heavy on the Disney Channel child stars, but I think she is a necessary addition to the group. Vanessa and her long-time boyfriend Austin Butler are basically “everything goals.” They hang out at Coachella and seem to always be having fun.
Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey is probably best known for portraying the sarcastic April Ludgate on “Parks and Recreation.” Judging by her Twitter feed, she is just as awesome in real life as she was on the show. Everyone needs a sarcastic friend to help lighten the mood every now and then.
Jennifer Lawrence
Since starring in "The Hunger Games", Jennifer has become one of biggest actresses in Hollywood. In spite of this, she’s remained down to earth and hilarious. Having a super famous friend couldn’t hurt. Especially because she could introduce me to Bradley Cooper.
Zooey Deschanel
Zooey is who I aspire to be in everyday life. I even got bangs in high school in an attempt to be more like her (not my best look). She’s the perfect balance of quirky and awkward. Zooey even gave her daughter the middle name “Otter”, which I feel like is definitely something that I would do.
Anna Kendrick
Do I even have to explain this one? She’s just the coolest person ever.
