2017 brought us some of the best movies and some of the worst. Summer box office numbers were some of the worst numbers in history and had multiple movie flops. Hopefully, 2018 can step up the game in the movie industry and give us the movies we deserve.

These movies listed below range from the beginning of the year to the end of 2018. There is a lot of talk and hype surrounding these movies, so hopefully, they pull through. Most of these movies are actually created by Disney or through Disney... Disney never quits.

Some of the movies listed below do have trailers and promo pictures while some are still top secret projects.

1. A Wrinkle in Time - March 9th

Chris Pine? Oprah Winfrey? Reese Witherspoon? And Mindy Calling? YES PLEASE!

2. Ocean's 8 - June 8th

I can't even list the whole cast because it's full of the most badass women. Get ready ladies!

3. The Avengers: Infinity War - May 4th

This trailer low-key made me cry, someone is going to have to pick me up off the movie theater floor after I see it. I know this movie is going to make me hate life for a good month and if they kill off a main character, I will riot.

4. The Nutcracker and the Four Realms - November 8th

Morgan Freeman is in this so I have 100% faith in it.

5. Incredibles 2 - June 15th

I waited 15 years for this vague trailer. I. NEED. MORE.

6. Solo: A Star Wars Story - May 25th

This movie comes out in 5 months but still no trailer?? Also, I'm so excited to see Donald Glover kill it!

7. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - November 16th

Jude Law as Dumbledore? This is what dreams are made of.

8. X-Men: Dark Phoenix - November 2nd

There are 11 and counting X-Men movies, and I swear they get better every time. There is no trailer yet but many first look pictures have been released.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
