College is a trying time. You're often tired, mostly a big pile of stress and always, always busy, but worry not because here are five things to help make your college survival a little simpler... or at least the walk to class.
1. A Watter Bottle
Long walks make for thirsty people, and let's be honest, you should be drinking more water anyways.
2. A Rain Jacket
When rain hits, it hits hard but your professor doesn't really care if you have to trek a mile in the rain from one end of campus to the other, you just better be on time. Sometimes it helps to get a rain jacket that's a bit too big for you so you can fit your backpack under it. I know, you'll look like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, but the $1000 MacBook won't get wet.
3. Sunglasses
It's bright out here, and honestly your eyes could use the break. Eyes are worked hard in your classes and online homework. Be kind to your windows to the world.
4. A Good Pair of Headphones
I know in the movies you see a group of friends walking to class together talking and laughing, but this is really pretty rare, and most of the time your friends are nowhere near you when you're walking to class, so invest in headphones you love, and make sure you pack them every day. It makes the long walks much more bearable.
5. Spiral Bound Notebooks
Multi-Subject spiral-bound notebooks are a lot lighter than binders and help cut down on weight in that backpack.
6. Ebooks
You almost always have to have a laptop for at least one of your classes, so why not buy Ebook versions of your textbooks instead of lugging heavy hard-cover books and adding to that shoulder stress?
