If you are a huge music fan like me, you are probably exploding because so many artists are releasing new music. From Nick Jonas to the Script. There are going to be so many new songs that I have to add to my playlist.

1. Nick Jonas

"Find You" came out on September 14th and honestly it is so amazing. It has the same type of chill-pop style that Selena Gomez gave us when she released "Fetish". The lyrics are so intriguing in this song and his rhymes are honestly so new. Jonas said during the Honda Civic Future Now World Tour (that he shared with Demi Lovato) that he wanted to push himself to be more honest in his music and this is exactly what he is accomplishing. Keep it coming Nick.

2. Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato's album "Tell Me You Love Me" will be released on September 29th. I am so excited for this release because I have been in love Demi Lovato since she was on Barney (I'm not joking, my mom can testify). There really hasn't been an album that haven't loved by her. Lovato said that this album is going to be more soulful-pop and I am so ready for it. She released "Sorry Not Sorry", "Tell Me You Love Me", and "You Don't Do It For Me Anymore" as of when this article is being written. Her voice sounds better than ever and her lyrics are some for the books. I truly hope that she continues to deliver with this upcoming album.

3. The Script

"Freedom Child" came out on September 1st and The Script really showed development with this album. My personal favorite album from The Script is their "Science & Faith" album, but their newest release is extremely good. They talk about hard hitting issues in today's society with class, as well as providing us with amazing lyrics about relationships that we know and love from this Irish band. Some songs to check out would be "Wonders", "Eden", "Mad Love", and "Written in the Scars".

4. Sam Smith

"Too Good at Goodbyes" was released on September 8th. As per usual with Sam Smith, his song was emotionally heart wrenching. The song talks about how when people leave, he just gets used to saying goodbye; thus, making him 'too good at goodbyes'. Smith said in an interview that his upcoming album (there has not been a release date or title yet) is going to be the most raw album he has created. He also stated that the lead single didn't feel so personal when he was in the writing room; it was after the release that he understood how personal "To Good At Goodbyes" really was. Smith told Ryan Seacrest that there are far more personal songs on his new album. I am so excited for this project.

5. Kelly Clarkson

I have missed Kelly Clarkson so much. She is truly a vocal powerhouse and this new album "Meaning of Life" (no release date yet) proves to be no different. The lead single "Love So Soft" is an upbeat pop song that proves that Clarkson hasn't lost her power and the second released song "Move You" takes you through a love journey. I am so excited for this new album because Clarkson said that this is the album she has always wanted to make. Kelly Clarkson doesn't disappoint, so I am extremely excited about this new release.

6. Niall Horan

With his release of "This Town" and "Slow Hands", I have been impatiently waiting for the release of his new album. Harry Styles album was amazing in my opinion but I have always connected more with Niall's writing so this new release is going to be amazing. "Flicker" by Horan will be released on October 20th.

7. Taylor Swift

Now this probably shouldn't come as a surprise but T-Swift has been missing in action for three years now and the only new release we received in 2016 was "I Don't Wanna Live Forever". Now she has released "Look What You Made Me Do" which isn't my personal favorite, and "...Ready For It?" which is my personal jam. I am so pumped to see what dark road Taylor is going to take us down with "Reputation" that is set to release November 10th.

Wow, those are just a few of the artists that are releasing new music. Not to mention :

Superfruit with "Future Friends" (MUST LISTEN)

Thomas Rhett with "Life Changes"

Danielle Bradbery with "I Don't Believe We've Met"

Foo Fighters with "Concrete and Gold"

Gucci Mane with "Mr. Davis"

Fergie with "Double Dutchess"

Macklemore with "Gemini"

Sleeping with Sirens with "Gossip"

Kesha with "Rainbow"

Miley Cyrus with "Younger Now"

(These are just some other names that I enjoy listening to on occasion, but there are tons of other artists that are releasing new tunes)

Just add Shawn Mendes, John Mayer, and twenty-one pilots to the list and I'll have to update all of my music library. Happy listening!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
