Dear Music,

First and foremost, thank you. For everything.

Lately, I feel like my mind has been going 95 mph non-stop, and I've found myself listening to you more and more these days. It's like when I don't know how to feel, you tell me. And when I forget how to breathe, you help me slow down. Every song, every lyric, speaks to me on a different level these days. I find myself relating to relying on you to heal and feel better, and that is what makes you so amazing.

So thank you music. For everything you do. For making my dark days brighter and my great days even brighter. I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for you giving me the strength to keep moving forward. You've given me so many amazing emotions, friends, and memories to last me for entire lifetimes.

You give me feelings without even talking-- you make cry with just one lyric and make me happy with just one chord. You speak to me in a way that no one else can. It's amazing what you can do without really even speaking to me. But I wouldn't want it any other way.

You calm me down like no one ever could. I could be having a paralyzing anxiety attack, but you're always there to save me. Your smooth chords and calming choruses calm me instantly. You save me, every day. You are one of the most influential things in my life, and I owe my strength and courage, all of it-- to you.

It's you, music, that keeps me sane from day to day. Whether it's just a stressful day at work, an anxiety attack, or it's just a bad day in general; you're always there to calm me down and help me remember the more important things in life. You teach me how to be a better me every single day-- and I live a better and happier life just because I have you.

So thank you music, for getting me out of my slumps and bad days, and teaching me there's more to life than all the negative challenges thrown our way. I don't know where I'd be today if it wasn't for you, and because of that, I'l always be grateful that I was able to find a healing in you.

Thank you music, for saving me.

Sincerely,

A Girl Who Will Always Love You

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
