I have a family that loves games. We get together for the holidays to do more than just feast and exchange gifts. Christmas Bingo is what has tailed every Christmas for more than a decade, and is a staple event I work hard to participate in every year. Of course, on the night of Christmas, there is a meal that starts around 3. After some hours have passed sitting around and catching up with everyone, the games begin and we all start to have our fill of desserts. There is an entire table committed to desserts and we don't let it go to waste!
After several party games and Left Right Center, we begin the games of bingo! At 50 cents per sheet, we all buy-in for the upcoming 10 or so games. Each game's winner will choose between wrapped gifts until the final game. The final game is a cover all meaning that there is no winner until one has completely blacked out their bingo sheet based on the numbers called. While I have never won this final game of bingo, this year's winner was my Mom! The winner gets the money pot that we've all contributed to across the different bingo games, and that sum can get pretty hefty. Regardless, it feels great to be able to have such fun with family and have something to look forward to at then end of every year!
