Valentine's Day is coming up and we all know that we are going to sit in our rooms with our tears and sadness am I right? We are going to want to watch a good love movie I'm sure. Here are the BEST four movies that EVERY girl should watch on the infamous love day!

1. "The Proposal"

This movie will have you laughing for hours but also crying for hours, honestly. Basically, Andrew (the gorgeous Ryan Reynolds) works with Margaret (Sandra Bullock). Margaret is looked at as being a rich, stuck up hag and Andrew does anything and everything for her. The problem is that Margaret needs to be legalized in the U.S seeing as she is from Canada. Well, her plan is to engage in a "fake marriage" with Andrew and basically threaten his job if he doesn't comply. Throughout the movie, they meet the parents, go on trips, and eventually actually fall for each other. It's a definite 'yes' for me this Valentine's Day!

2. "The Notebook"

Yeah, yeah, I know what some of you are thinking. "Ugh this movie is so cliché" or "I've seen this a million times. STOP." Honestly, I love this movie! It's about two young teenagers back in the 40s, Allie (Rachel McAdams) and Noah (Ryan Gosling). They meet over the summer and instantly hit it off. They can't get enough of each other! Well, her parents are rich and believe that unless he has money then he's no good for her. Not everyone has a money tree in their backyard right?

The parents make them break up, selfishly, and the two go their separate ways. Over time, they find new people but never can shake the memory of one another. Eventually, they see each other again and fall straight back into love. Yes, there are a few hiccups like Allie being engaged and her mom being the snob she is but everything eventually works out!

3. "A Walk to Remember"

Gosh, I could honestly watch this movie back to back for a whole day. No joke! It has a phenomenal message to it that everyone could benefit from! First off, there are Jamie (Mandy Moore) and Landon (Shane West). Jamie is very religious and is not really in the "cool" crowd. Landon, on the other hand, is one of the most popular. Something bad happens that Landon is apart of that lands him doing community service and having to act in a school play. Landon, lands, see what I did there?

Anyway, that's where Jamie comes in. She tries to be his friend and help him but all he does is push her away. This is why boys are dumb, right ladies? Well, they start to spend more and more time together and Landon falls in love with her. The only problem with that is Jamie has a very scary secret. Not telling you the secret because you have to watch it! After Jamie tells him the news, he doesn't give up on her and continues to try and help the situation. Till death do they part!

4. "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days"

This is one of the funniest romance movies I've ever seen! The title even makes you laugh! Andy (Kate Hudson) works at Composure and Ben (Matthew McConaughey) is an executive for a company. Well, Andy is given the topic for her advice article, "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days." Her boss tells her she has to find a guy and pull the plug in 10 days. Sounds a little crazy huh? Then she finally finds the guy and does everything guys hate. Annoying, clingy, touchy-feely, and the list goes on.

Little does she know, Ben is told by his boss to make a woman fall in love with him in order to get a project he wants. They both are playing each other throughout the entire movie. Well, just like how it always goes, they end up actually falling in love with each other after the fact. I think that everyone, guys, and girls, should watch this. It's just really funny.

So go ahead and go buy your tub of ice cream, grab you a blanket, and put on one of these movies on Valentine's Day! I promise you won't regret it!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
