Every time I watch a good show or movie, I cannot help but share the titles with friends so that they could experience it too!

1. The Platform

This movie is about a prison that contains many floors, two cellmates per cell, and one food platform that travels for a short period of time a day. The best way to access food is by being on the higher floors; the lower floors get scraps. The main character goes through the experience and has to do go great lengths to survive and seek revenge to the prison administration. I would rate this movie as a 7/10. It is a psychological thriller that will make you think of the levels of class in society in a different way.

2. The Perks of Being a Wallflower

This movie is about a high school outcast who is essentially "a wallflower"--he watches everyone from the sidelines and doesn't partake in being the center of attention. When he meets two older students in his high school, he becomes friends with them after they welcome him and introduce him to others. This movie is great for appreciating little moments in life and the people that make an effort to show you why life is worth living. I personally read this novel as well and it has always been a favorite of mine. I would rate it as a 9.5/10. It is a romance/drama, and covers some difficult topics, but is definitely worth watching.

3. Fractured

This movie is about a small family that is on a road trip back home, and when they make a stop along the way, their daughter fractures her arm and is taken to the hospital. The father starts becoming worried after his wife and daughter suddenly disappear from the emergency room, and his suspicions raise that the hospital is hiding important information about the case. This movie is a thriller, and I would rate it a 6/10. The plot was good and the acting is great, but the ending was somewhat predictable as this movie is a good representation of a general "thriller."

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
