I've been left handed my whole life, of course, and that's a long time at this point. Life is not seriously different or challenging because of being left-handed, but living in a world where there are significantly less left-handed people then right-handed people presents unique challenges. while to Every left-handed person can appreciate these few moments of pure joy.
1. Finding a left-handed desk in class.
Finding a left-handed desk is awesome, but even better if it's towards the front of the class in my opinion. I have one class where someone from another class keeps moving the left-handed desk from the front of the row. I persistently move it back every time.
2. Scissors for left-handed people.
It's very awkward and uncomfortable to use scissors that are not meant for your dominant hand. I can manage to adjust, but there are some people who can't do it at all.
3. Not writing in a binder or spiral notebook.
I hate when I'm writing in a binder and my wrist and harm have to press against the metal rings. I just end up going loose-leaf instead. This
4. Being questioned by righties.
Please do not interrogate me about living life left-handed. It's pretty cool, but not that much different from being right-handed except that you live in a world developed for people that are right handed.
5. Finding others just like you.
The magical moment when you and another person discovers that each of you is left handed is indescribable.
But hey, things could be worse. At least we're not being persecuted anymore.
