Remember when you were sixteen years old, freshly licensed, and wondering when you would ever get your mom out of your hair because you were a full-fledged adult that was totally capable of taking care of themselves?

Yeah, turns out you literally never stop needing your mom.

Even when you are 22 years old, living on your own, and in theory a full-fledged adult that is totally capable of taking care of themselves, you still desperately need just a few kind words from good 'ol mom to help survive until the next day.

1. The "Reminder That He Really Ain't Sh!t" Text

Your mom has always been, and will always be your best bull sh*t detector. She knows a fake friend, dead beat guy, or if someone is just doing you dirty from a mile away. Trust her, she knows whats best for you.

2. The classic "I Miss You" Text

There was only one person who has had your back since the day where you were rolling around in your own poop, she is allowed to miss you. And that random "I Miss You" text could be the one thing that gets you through your hectic day.

3. The "Wholesome Meme" Text That Brightens Your Morning

Whether it be sweet words or giant animated animals showered in hearts, mom always knows how to cheer you up.

4. The "Get Yourself Together" Text

She's your biggest cheerleader but also at the same time your biggest ass kicker, listen to her, she knows what is best for you.

5. The "Seriously, Get Yourself Together" Text

Even when she is brutally honest. Seriously, listen to her.

6. The Selfie With Your Pet Text

Two of the things you miss the most combined in one pick. There is nothing you will need more on this earth and nothing that will make your heart sing more.

7. The "Grey's Anatomy Discussion To Distract You From Your Real World Problems" Text

When you are up to your neck in papers, readings assignments, and emails it may seem like you can never catch a break. But don't worry, your BFF Mom is always down to supply some much-needed distraction.

8.The "I Got Family Gossip, Lemme Spill This Tea" Text To Also Distract You From Your Real-World Problems

MOM ALWAYS HAS THE HOT GOSSIP. And if she doesn't, you damn well know she one hundred percent down to listen to it. Escape your problems and settle down for a good old fashion Mother/Daughter tea party.

9.The Motivational Text That Will Ultimately Keep You Going

She keeps you grounded and reminds you what the bigger picture is. When your world seems to be falling apart, you can trust Mom to bring you back to reality.

10. Simply, The "I Love You" Text

No one's going to love you like your mother loves you, never take advantage of that. She's the one who will always support you and is always in your corner. Cherish her during your college years because chances are, you wouldn't make it through them without her.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
