Without messing up, you wouldn't learn anything. Learning is a tough process. Yeah, you can get hurt during this time, but you also grow. You being to find out the person you are, and you also find out the person you want to become. Throughout my very short life, I have messed up a lot. I've made mistakes and I take curveballs from life straight to the face and ended up with a hardcore black eye (metaphorically speaking). But without having experienced these tough times and trials, I've had to face, I wouldn't be anywhere near who I am today... and I have to say I like who I am. I wouldn't have the knowledge I have about certain things that I've gone through, and I wouldn't know what to do or not do during certain situations. So here's my advice to you about this:
1. If you're facing a time in your life that makes you feel like poop and you think everything in the world is a sack of shit, it's not.
There is so much more time left. Try to think about the positive side of things and sort through it.
2. Maybe you've made a mistake recently and you are upset about it.
I've been there. Everyone has. Just move on from it because we all make mistakes and we all mess up, but dwelling on it and putting yourself down isn't healthy. Also, mistakes seem bad, but they're good because we get the opportunity to learn from it.
3. Help others who may be going through something that similar to what you are going through or have been through.
That's what life's about -- passing on knowledge and giving advice.
4. Pet a dog.
They relieve stress and make you feel so much better.
5. Drink some coffee and read a book outside.
Love our world and everything in it! Be happy and be yourself. There's no time to waste feeling sad or bad or hating the world. We live in a beautiful place and should be thankful for just that.
