You are entitled to your opinion.
No, really, you are, that wasn’t sarcasm.
But, for the love of God, that doesn’t mean I actually want to hear it. Your other Facebook friends probably don’t, either. So calm the f**k down, Millennials, we get it, you don’t like Trump or Hillary.
For a majority of this year, nearly every conversation I’ve had, with just about anything that breathes, has touched upon this upcoming election. I have listened to people justify their love for Trump, their hatred for Hillary, their hatred for Trump, their love for Hillary, or why they hate the both of them. (No one loves the both of them.) These discussions are great because I want to know your opinion, I want to understand your rational, otherwise, I wouldn’t have asked. More importantly, a discussion is two sided; two or more individuals are curious to know one another’s thoughts and reactions pertaining to current events. We are all fortunate to live in a country that condones freedom of speech, without it, I wouldn’t be able to write this article. Millennials, however, have truly exploited this luxury in a way that has really pissed me off. They feel authorized to barf their opinions all over social media, like on Facebook, for example.
So, Millenials, next time you feel so entitled to spitball your reaction all over Facebook, you should instead call a friend, pop open a bottle of wine, and talk about it with another human being.
