Right now, it's either midterm week or shortly thereafter and sometimes that can bring a little negativity to the day. Here are 5 ways to remind yourself of the good things in life:
1. It's FINALLY sweater weather
Middle of October means that Louisiana got the memo for fall weather. At last you can pull out that cute, new LSU hoodie you picked up in August.
2. Study in the Quad (no seriously)
Sunshine has vitamin D, and multiple studies show that sunshine helps with having a happier outlook on life. So get out from under the fluorescent lights and go soak up some positive rays.
3. Drink something that doesn't contain caffeine
Caffeine is a necessity during college, but it drains your body of important vitamins and minerals. Which means if caffeine is all you drink, you'll feel gross and drained. A little water can go a long way towards making your day better.
4. Eat Real Food
It can be hard to eat right, especially on a college budget, (looking at you, ramen noodles), but it can make a world of difference on your mood. LSU has a lot of food options, try swinging by Middleton and grabbing a banana.
5. Remember all this work is gonna pay off
All these tests? Just one more milestone towards achieving that diploma. You got this.
