These days, the word love is tossed around left and right. Even I, tell everyone I love them. My friends and family, I truly do love them. I feel that if you care about someone or something so much, and would do anything for them, then that is love. According to Merriam Webster, love is "an intense feeling of deep affection".
Although this may describe some love, I believe this is more being in love than love. How can anybody know what love really is? Yes, everybody experiences it from birth on but how can you put one single definition on such a broad term? This is just my opinion of love and it may not be the same for you or anybody, but that's what makes all unique individuals.
Love is frustrating.
Love is wanting what is best for that person no matter what. It seriously is blinding.
Love is putting that person or people ahead of yourself because you constantly want their outcomes to be happy.
The key here is, you need to learn to love yourself before you can start loving others. This is a hard lesson I've had to learn as well. You are your own beautiful creation and if you can't love how you were made, then how are you expected to know how to put that love on others?
It is overwhelming because it is so hard to love what you do have and too easy to love what you don't, but no matter how you were made, you aren't like any other person on this planet and that makes you pretty cool.
Love can be used anywhere and is used everywhere. True love, or being in love, is a different story. Love versus in love can have very similar aspects, but once you feel it, you know the difference. The thing is with being in love, is it is not just you, it is not just that person, it is everyone around you witnessing it as well. How do I know? Well, I can't say I do.
These are just from my experiences with friends and family and my own life. You can love everybody in the world, but being in love is the equator. It is important to love. It is important to be loved. Don't be afraid to open up and let love in. If there is care, there is love, it may not be a wife or husband material love, but love is love is love.
You don't need to be in a relationship to feel loved, you don't need to go searching for it either, because everyone is loved and I guarantee you that someone out there loves you right now.
