Meet Caroline, UA's Newest Bachelorette!

Alright, y'all, another week calls for a new UA Bachelorette and I know you won't wanna miss this one. She's simply, down to earth, and looking for someone to have a good laugh with! Love puppies and hiking? Maybe just want a nice dinner? Keep reading and meet Caroline!

Name: Caroline Lowe

Hometown: Mobile, AL

Class Standing: Senior

Age: 21

Major: Public Health/Health Professions

Job: Patient Care Assistant

1. Describe your dream guy.

I have a very good relationship with my family and a guy who has a good relationship with theirs makes him that much more attractive. He would be motivated and driven, but also able to kick back. Someone who knows how to be goofy and can deal with my sarcastic and silly nature, a good sense of humor is a must!

2. What is your ideal date?

While dinner and drinks are great, my ideal date would be something that shows effort and is planned. Something creative and fun like renting a dog for the day or checking out a hiking trail!

3. Thoughts on Tinder.

Never had it and not looking to get one. But to each their own!

4. Biggest turn-off.

Bad hygiene or bad teeth!

5. If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go and why?

My parents are in the military so I've been able to travel a lot but one place I'm dying to visit is Greece because of their architecture and scuba diving!

6. What is the worst date you've ever been on?

I haven't really had one that sticks out but, obviously, some have been better than others. If a guy is on his phone the whole time or talks about his ex that would constitute as a bad date for me.

7. If you could do any career what would you do?

I would love to travel to underdeveloped countries and educate the communities on health concerns.

8. Why did you choose UA?

My grandfather and aunt went here. The first time I visited I truly felt at home and knew that this was the school for me. Haven't regretted it for a second! I'm going to cry when I graduate in May.

9. What are you passionate about?

Global Health and making sure everyone around the world has access to the same things we do. I feel as though running water is a basic necessity so making it accessible to everyone is a life goal.

Well, there you have it! If you shower regularly and want to rent some puppies or talk about your family then Caroline is the girl for you. If you're interested don't hesitate!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
