During this holiday season, the Odyssey Online at ASU reporters want you to get to know us. Enjoy this holiday-themed post and learn what we are thankful for.
I am most thankful for my friends and my family. No matter what mood I am in, my friends are always there for me tolerating whatever thing I have to tell them. I don't think I could ask for a more supportive group of people to call my friends. They know everything about me and yet don't get bored of me and still listen to my crazy rants.
Making friends was probably the hardest thing I had to do throughout school because I didn't speak English. My best friend has been with me since the 5th grade and stayed by my side even when I couldn't communicate.
Also, my roommate is incredible and I am so lucky to have her in my life. She listens to my crazy stories, always gives me motivation, and has the same crazy level energy that I do.
And also my family. My parents support me through whatever crazy dream that I have, and without them, I wouldn't even be in this country. They sacrificed their own happiness so I could succeed and that is something that I've always been thankful for. My parents have taken me to every choir rehearsal, driven long mile for auditions, and given me a boost every time that I needed it.
Without these people in my life, I wouldn't be where I am today and I am so thankful for them.
