Name: Holly Rausch

Hometown: Dyersburg, TN

Major: Accounting

Age: 21

Class Standing: Junior

Job: Aldi

1. Describe your dream guy.

This guy would be someone who is spontaneous and not afraid to take risks. Someone who loves God. He should be outgoing, smart, and supportive. I'd want him to have a good taste in music so he could join me at concerts and festivals. Hopefully, he can grill a mean steak or some ribs, girls can't do all the cooking. He'd be someone I could travel the world with and live life to the fullest.

2. What is your ideal date?

I'd have to say something romantic and/or fun! He would pick me up and we would be off to dinner somewhere, food is important and I will gladly eat anything (except spaghetti). Talk about life and the current sporting events. Then, after dinner, do something fun, like go to a go-kart track and race each other or play mini golf, I'm excellent at hole-in-ones. On the other side we can be really romantic and have a candle lit dinner with a full course meal and we are in stellar clothes. Get you someone who can do both.

3. Thoughts on Tinder.

I don't really care for it.

4. Biggest turn-off.

Someone who has no motivation or ambition to go after what they want. If you have dreams/goals then don't let them sit on the table. Anything is possible and there are lots of ways to make your dreams come true. If I can do it, so can anyone else.

5. if you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Bora Bora. It has always been a dream trip of mine and I'm still waiting to take it! The island itself is just amazing in pictures so it would be breathtaking in person. I'd love to be in the clear water and on the white sand and have dinner watching the sunset. It would be the perfect way to get a nice tan!

6. What is the worst date you have ever been on?

Hmm. I went on one date with a guy, and he was rude to our waiter the whole time. I've been in a servers shoes, so I understand their struggles. After that night we didn't have a second date.

7. if you could work any career, what would you do?

A National Geographic Traveler. Traveling the world and getting paid for it? Count me in!

8. Why did you choose UA?

I actually transferred to UA. I've always wanted to go here. It was a dream of mine. I love the atmosphere, the people, and the energy of the campus. I never toured the school but I came to many games before and just loved being down here. Coming here was one of the best decisions of my life. Roll Tide.

9. What are you passionate about?

Life. I can honestly say I've lived my life to the fullest so far. I've done most of the things I've wanted to do or accomplish. Life is precious and you only get one. Yes, Netflix is great but there is so much to see and do so why waste it on the couch?

Well, there you have it, gentlemen! If you are looking for some adventure in your life then Holly might be what you need. Stay tuned for more UA Bachelor and Bachelorettes to come!

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
