Summer is one of the best seasons of the year. Finally, we have enough time to travel around the world, have amazing adventures with our friends, live the most romantic love story, and have funny experiences like a reality TV start.

The truth is most of us had to work and study this Summer. We were busy, too busy, to enjoy this time of the year, and Fall semester is just a couple week ahead. But, don't worry, we are on time to make this Summer memorable.

I have some ideas for these days where you don't need to spend a lot of money.

1. Become a tourist in your own city.

You don't need to go far or spend a lot of money to be a tourist. We don't enjoy our towns because we are so busy to appreciate them. Rent a hotel room in your city, go to all the touristy places, spend some time in the pool, shop for some gifts, take a lot of pictures or take a bubble bath.

The idea is to relax, to enjoy your town.

2. Spend time with your friends.

Friends are a significant part of our lives. We need to dedicate some time to them. Speaking by text, Facebook, Instagram (or whatever is the way you talk with them) is not enough. It is great to make new memories together. You don't need to go out all night; I am talking about to have a cup of coffee together, go shopping, eat a hamburger or a dessert or slice of pizza.

3. Read the book you never have time to read.

You have a couple of weeks ahead to take that book you never able to read (yes, that one your bestie recommended you). In my case, I have a pile of magazines waiting for me.

If you do not want to read, you can use these weeks to watch a couple of the TV shows you have in your "To do" list.

4. Try to cook like a pro.

If you like to cook, it is a great time to learn some new recipes and experiment with new flavors and techniques. If you don't cook at all, it is time to learn some recipes because you will want to impress your friends or your future crushes with amazing meats, vegan plates or memorable desserts.

5. Make time for romance.

These weeks are perfect for romantic dinners, chilling watching movies, beautiful picnics and reading poems together (too cheesy?).

Have all the fun you can together. You want to make a lot of good memories; you will need them in the hardest moments of your Fall semester.

6. Sleep, sleep and sleep.

I don't know about you, but I love to sleep. My guilty pleasure is waking up for lunchtime and napping after that. Believe me, when I am in my job, I am dreaming about my bed. Staying an entire day on the bed is the best way to take all the stress out.

Now, hurry up and make these weeks unforgivable.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
