Make 2020 Your BEST Year Ever And Explore Yourself Even More

Every year is always a brand new starting point to bring some sort of change or changes in our lives. Either we change or try to change the way we live our lives. 2020 is the start of a new decade and I'm more optimistic than ever for even more incredible things to happen.

Each year, we are granted the opportunity to learn from past experiences and revamp ourselves. These subtle changes in our behavior and priorities will inculcate a sense of renewed self-realization along with heightened imagination. Engineer the new year as a powerful journey of self-discovery and make it about transforming yourself into a better human being. Trust me, the world still needs more selfless and empathetic individuals who are willing to challenge preconceived notions.

Always remember that a New Year is always the chance to shine! Let's imagine that you are single and have suffered emotionally from a toxic relationship. The most normal behavior we can expect from you is to vow never to get involved in another romantic relationship and remain single for as long as you can. However, this is not recommended and you should use your previous relationship experience as a tool to navigate into your next relationship when the right time comes. Keep in mind, not all relationships are necessarily destined to end in a negative way. In fact, you may want to seriously consider removing some toxic people out of your life for the sake of your mental health and sane state of mind.

Another new year's resolution would be to stay fit or lose some weight if you are clinically overweight or obese. Weight loss has been linked to decreasing the likelihood of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Consider giving yourself some extra minutes to work out and head to the gym with friends to make it more worthwhile and rewarding.

Stay relevant even if you are not technically from this generation. Even if you are 45 or 54, there is actually nothing wrong in staying up-to-date with the latest technology and on the topics that most interest your teenager or young adult at home. Never forget that age is simply just a number and you can fight it with your indomitable spirit and willpower.

Moreover, strive to explore the world a tad more than before. Embrace the diverse cultures and gain insight on how these cultures came about in society. In addition, you should aspire to live your life to the fullest and indulge in self-expressed hedonism from time to time. After all, self-pleasure is both a psychological need and a physiological desire in order to eventually attain self-actualization in life. Truth be told, we are all inherently a product of extravagant evolution in a constantly evolving world. CHEERS to 2020 and to the start of a new era in the making!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
