Dear Taco Bell,

It's been two days since I have last seen you. Two days since your beautiful doors have welcomed me into paradise. Forty-eight hours since my nostrils have been filled with the sweet aroma of cheese sauce and seasoned beef. How much longer must I wait to see you again? Oh, Taco Bell, how I love thee. The sweetness of your cinnamon twists floods my heart with joy. The melty-goodness of your cheesy roll-up stirs up my soul.

Dearest Taco Bell, thou art a rose among the thorns, a diamond in the rough, an oasis in the desert. Big Macs and Whoppers are pale in comparison to the radiant beauty of the Quesarito. Burgers and fries do not compete with tacos at so fair a price. In your presence, my wallet stays full and my taste buds are pleased. There is no one else like you and there never will be. You set me free from bowel obstruction and loosen the chains of constipation. Cheesy beans and steak supreme cleanse me from all of my impurities. My toilet loathes you, but I know that you love me back. I know you love me when you tenderly call my name so that I may obtain the gift that you bestow. I know you love me when you leave notes on the sauce packets, to remind me that you care.

Speaking of sauce, you know that we are all different, so you provide us with four varying degrees of heat. You truly do care. When I see that shining pink bell, I feel at rest, like I’m finally home. At first bite, the CrunchWrap Supreme, makes me feel like I’m in heaven. An hour later on the toilet, it makes me feel like I’m in hell, but sometimes love hurts. Sometimes things don’t work out, and we have to say goodbye to Diablo Sauce and Sriracha Chicken Crunchwraps.

However, you always come back with something even more lovely, the Quesalupa. Taco Bell forgive me for doubting you, I know that you do what you do because you love me and you what the best for me. Taco Bell thank you for keeping your prices low and your spirits high, always providing us with the highest quality of fast-food. Oh, Taco Bell, I love you and I want everyone on this spherical planet to know that I do.

With Love,

Hungry American

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
