Valentine's Day should not be the only day that you tell everyone in your life you love them. The stores shouldn't sell out of flowers just on Valentine's Day. Honestly, the spontaneous moments receiving flowers mean the most. It's always a good surprise, and you can't go wrong. Can you imagine a world where everybody loved everybody the way they do on Valentine's Day? Marriages would be stronger because both people would feel loved every day.
I know that relationships are rough. Every day can't be rainbows, hearts, and butterflies. All I'm saying is work on loving everybody in your life more, especially your significant other. Pursue their hearts with vigor, and they will do the same for you. Love them more than you've ever loved anybody, and never stop.
On Valentine's Day, every couple is rushing to get into a nice restaurant, looking nice and feeling like a young kid in love. If every couple tried to have a date night once a week, they would have that chance to fall in love again every single week.
Just take the time to show everybody that means something to you just how much you love them. I know that this is what the 14th is made for, and that's fine. But don't wait to connect like that again for 365 days. Love more, and never let anybody in your life forget just how much they mean to you.
If you appreciate someone, go get them some chocolates or a dozen roses. If someone made you smile a little extra, send them a letter or a card. Take time out of your busy life to reach out to those around you. Those that you care about. Not just your significant other, but everyone that means a lot to you.
Valentine's Day should never be the only day where you love. Those you care about deserve way more than that, so give it to them.
Figure out new ways to love, and just never stop.
