Turning Fashion Inside Out

If you've never watched "The Ellen Show" before, I recommend you do it as soon as possible because this woman is awesome. Even if you just watch her clips that are posted on her Facebook, you will see who she is. She will make you laugh so hard during one show and then do something so sweet in the next it might make you cry. Ellen is one incredible lady and was recently awarded the Medal of Freedom for her activism the past few decades. Here are the reasons that I love Ellen DeGeneres and you should also.

1. Her Kindness

She does many things on her show that promote being kind to one another. She sends people to do things they want to do, she gives people money to support things they believe in and for good reason. I've watched her show when she's given money to school teachers to keep their school up and running and make the kids have a better education because they come from low-income families. She has a very kind heart and there are not many people out there like that anymore.

2. She's Hilarious

If I'm having a bad day, what do I do? Go watch some "Ellen Show"clips because I know I will laugh. She does at least one funny thing in each of her shows and is guaranteed to make you laugh at least once each time you watch her.

3. She's Dory

I would hope most of you have seen Finding Nemo or Finding Dory, if not y'all need to watch that right now. Ellen is also the voice of Dory and who doesn't love Dory? You already love Dory and Ellen is the voice of Dory so, now you love Ellen also, you're welcome.

4. She Likes To Dance

Here's her dancing with one of her look a likes. If you don't like to watch Ellen dance then, we can't be friends. She dances with many people on her show, some of my favorite dancing is with Michelle Obama, she's awesome also.

5. She Loves To Give

She does awesome things with her money like the 12 Days of Giveaways during the holiday season when she gives things away to people in the crowd. It's very awesome that she does this and all the people who get something are very appreciative when they receive something and it looks like Ellen really enjoys giving it to them.

6. She Loves To Scare

She loves to scare people behind scenes and even on her show. She has a video of all the times she has scared Taylor Swift, which is who is in the gif above. Her scares are funny and make everyone laugh even the person who got scared, well after they are done being scared anyways.

7. She Invites Awesome People On Her Show

Ellen always has cool people on her show, whether they are a celeb, a youtuber, a video that has went viral, or like the little girl up there, a surfer. This girl was hilarious and she loves food and Ellen sent her to Las Vegas, where she wanted to go and eat tons of food.

8. She Has Her Own Emoji App

Ellen has her own app of emojis. I mean that explains it all really. How cool is that? Ellen emojis are way better than regular emojis.

9. She's Like Us, But More Awesome

We all worry about the weight of anything on a Tortilla Chip just like Ellen, she just sounds better talking about it. She also is just more awesome than all of us.

If I haven't convinced you that Ellen is awesome and that you should love her then, you need to watch her show and find out for yourself. Ellen is awesome, I love her, we all should love her.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
