I Used The Love Calculator On 9 Guys And Learned If It's To Be Or Not To Be

I think it's safe to say the universe does NOT want me to be with anyone I went to high school or college with.

Okay so we all remember the love calculator, right? Well if you don't let me fill you in: the love calculator is this silly thing that everyone used in the fifth grade to test out how much they matched with their crush.

You put in both of your names and it comes out with a percentage of how much in love and a match you guys are. I completely forgot all about it until I saw a meme about it while I was scrolling through Facebook.

So I decided to test it on boys that I've had a thing with and boys that I used to like and here's what I got. For privacy reasons I'm only using the first letter of their name but I'm giving a tiny background.

1. Sarah and T.

I only liked this kid for 3 days my junior year but I'm pretty sure he knew. Oh and so much for senior prom, jerk lol. 1% for 3 days of me liking him, seems fair enough.

3. Sarah and Z.

My friends with benefits after my first break up. 1% because I was only 1% interested in him, and that 1% interest was in his taste in TV shows to binge watch.

4. Sarah and P.

A Tinder date but I also knew him in real life so I don't think it actually counts as a Tinder date. But either way, my first super awkward and bad date. 27% is fair enough, even though I wanted to stab myself in the eye with the fork the entire date.

5. Sarah and J.

Ew. Pretty sure that was all me and none of him.

6. Sarah and S.

The second most awkward date I've ever been on. 33% seems way too high, it should be like 3%.

7. Sarah and B.

I used to like this boy on and off throughout high school and then after we both were going through breakups we had a brief friends-with-benefits. 1% because only 1% of the time was I not bored, fair enough.

8. Sarah and K.

EW! 14% more like -14%.

9. Sarah and A.

Honestly, we were just friends but I thought it would be funny to test this one out. LOL, okay.

Based on this I think it's safe to say that the universe does NOT want me to be with anyone I went to high school with or go to college with and I am 100% on board with that.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
