Rebecca's Point of View:

I walk over to Clair to shake her hand. "Hi, how are you?"

"Fantastic! I'm glad you're apart of our team. Let me introduce you to my floor manager, Mr. Brooks." I go over to him and shake his hand. As we're shaking hands, we both get lost in each others eyes. It felt like time stopped and we were the only two people there. I don't know what it is about him, but I find something really appealing about him. As we continue to shake hands, I finally say, "Hi, I'm Rebecca. It's nice to finally meet you, I've heard nothing but great things about you from Clair." He doesn't say anything at first, he seems distracted but eventually responds with, "Nice to meet you, I'm Mr. Brooks. Its a pleasure to meet you." Our hands gradually come apart, but he continues to stare into my eyes. Clair clears her throat and says, "Let's show Rebecca where she will be working."

I follow her to the sales floor and she gestures where I'm supposed to go. She says, "You will be in charge of making sure the customers are satisfied with their purchases. If they're not satisfied, you will have to direct them to the different options we offer."

"Okay, Great! Sounds Good!"

"Mr. Brooks will be your manager on the floor if you need any assistance." Clair leaves me with Mr. Brooks. He looks dazed, I wait for instructions, but he doesn't say anything. So I ask," What would you like me to do?"

"Umm... you can start off by putting the returns away." He then walks swiftly away to his office.

Mr. Brooks point of View:

I close my office door and sit at my desk to get some work done. I can't seem to focus because my mind keeps drifting to Rebecca. No matter how hard I try, all I can think about is her. I don't understand why she's on my mind because I just met her. I don't think I've ever seen her before in my life, she doesn't look familiar. My heart seems like it's going to pop out of my chest and my hands feel clammy. I really shouldn't be thinking about her so much because of our age difference. She's twenty two years old and I am twenty nine. Plus I'm her boss, this can't be happening, I think I'm in love with Rebecca!

Clair's Point of View:

I shut my office door and try to get work done. My mind keeps wandering back to the moment when Rebecca and Mr. Brooks met. It seemed like Mr. Brooks looked at her different than how he looks at me. I hope it's just my imagination, because just thinking about him liking her more than me boils my blood. If this continues I'm going to have a problem with Rebecca, she's not going to get in the way of Mr. Brooks and I. I always get my way and land on top. If this continues to be a problem I'm going to get rid of her, no matter what it takes!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
