“Love, Simon” launched into theaters on March 16, and I think it’s just the movie that society needs right about now. I saw it about a week ago and I’m still thinking about it to this day! Simon is played by Nick Robinson, a teenage boy in high school who is trying to discover himself. “Love, Simon” is such a lovable romantic comedy that should be watched and loved by everybody!

I went to the movie theater not really knowing what the plot of the movie was. All I knew was that Simon had a huge secret, within that secret he was discovering himself. I walked out of the movie theater with such happiness and joy. “Love, Simon” is more than just a coming out story. It’s the journey of a teenager finding himself and discovering not only who he is, but discovering himself in his family and his friends. Simon’s family and friends are so important in his life, and all he could ever want is their support.

“Love, Simon” is more than just a teenage boy coming out to the world.

A part that really stuck out to me was when Simon had to worry about other kids in school spilling his secret and sharing it with the world before Simon was ready to come out. This is a huge problem that’s happening in today’s society. If you’re not the person who’s coming out, it’s not your business to share. “Love, Simon” really captures the emotion and struggle that Simon goes through during this hard period in his life. Why do other people feel the need to share a secret that isn’t theirs? A secret that has absolutely nothing to do with them, only to share it with the world to make that person uncomfortable. By spilling this secret, you ruin the one part of their life that they’re not ready to share with the world quite just yet.

Celebrities everywhere are buying out movie theaters across the country because they see the true importance of young adults, teenagers, and children to watch this movie. Matt Bomer, Joey Graceffa, Neil Patrick Harris, and Kristen Bell are all amongst the stars who loved "Love, Simon." They all come to the agreement that it's a story that needs to be told, and they want to pay it forward.

There are definitely some familiar faces that you'll recognize in this movie too! The all-star cast includes Nick Robinson (“Jurassic World”), Josh Duhamel (“Transformers”), Jennifer Garner (“13 Going On 30”), Katherine Langford and Miles Heizer (“13 Reasons Why”). This cast created such a great environment to watch as they all clicked together so well and worked nicely. I laughed, I cried, I live for "Love, Simon". I loved it.

"Love, Simon" is a fantastic movie about a teenage boy who faces struggles like every other high schooler, except he has one huge secret. I highly suggest you go to your local movie theater this weekend and see this movie. This is definitely a movie I would see again in theaters, and would buy on DVD.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
