Mom and Dad --

I know there has been tons of times throughout my life that I have forgotten to say thank you, as well as times that I have said thank you, but lets face it I wouldn't be here without you both - literally and figurely. So I wanted to take a moment and say thank you for everything you have done.

Thank you for being the best parents that I could ever ask for. Thank you for always being there and supporting me, whether you think my decision is super smart or dumb - for that I cannot thank you enough. Thank you for ALWAYS teaching and reinforcing me to learn right from wrong, and how to treat others. Thank you for always being my biggest cheerleader at sporting events, in my academics, and just in general.

Thank you for allowing me to play any and every sport that I wanted to get into. Thank you for always paying for my endless amounts of pitching and hitting lessons to help me achieve my dreams of being the best, and going to college to play. Thank you for always being the people that would catch me whenever I wanted to throw -- mostly dad since I drilled mom in the shins. Thank you so much for always being down, after much convincing, to play a game of pig, pass a volleyball or just throw because I'm bored.

Thank you for pushing me to do my best in school in order to get the best education that I could. Thank you for always listen to me while I have melt downs about how hard a class is, or how I thought I did good on a test when I actually bombed it. Thank you for always listening and directing me when trying to figure out what I wanted to major in and what I want to do for the rest of my life. Thank you for always being there for me even when you are 45 minutes away.

I know I missed some thank yous in there, and I probably will for the rest of my life. I think I hit some big ones and I hope you know that whenever I "forget" to say thank you that I really do appreciate everything you do and have done.

I wouldn't be who I am without you both. I love you both more than anything in the world, and I am sooo blessed to be your daughter.

I love you guys! <3

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
