With an injury in practice, in which Nick Young was guarding Kobe Bryant, Young when tore his radial collateral ligament in his right thumb and had to get surgery; he was expected to miss six to eight weeks. This injury occurred during preseason, hopefully giving him enough time to recover without missing too much of the NBA season. Which brings us to Tuesday Nov. 18. With an away game for the Lakers in Atlanta, Nick Young decided to return from his injury a couple of weeks early on the road trip, to make his season debut. This was an amazing sight for Lakers fans who, at this point in the season, have not had that much to cheer about.
Nick Young, AKA Swaggy P, brought some life back to the struggling Los Angeles Lakers. In his first game back, he brought back to the Laker basketball team what they desperately needed, a second scorer and some life. Swaggy P brings a different type of personality to this locker room, a completely different ego from Kobe Bryant, who gives a super serious vibe; Nick Young exudes confidence, cockiness, and this exuberant personality that can brighten up a dismal scene. He was the missing piece to this injury-prone team, and he believes that is why they got their second win of the season. He said in an interview, "It's like my Swag rubbed off on them." Yes, this may sound cocky, and a bit narcissistic, but what was seen on the court was a completely different Laker team, and this happened immediately with his return.
A team that lacked any offense off the bench, was given a gift of hope when Swaggy announced his return. With a stat line of 28 min, 17 points on 6-10 shooting, five rebounds and a steal, Nick Young made his mark on the game. With instant offense of the bench, and a second go- to player other than Kobe Bryant, he can help keep the defense guessing and, hopefully, expand this Lakers offense. The return of Nick Young brings lots of joy to all Laker fans, and a bright new perspective on the rest of the season. With lots of hope in their minds, the Laker season starts anew, hopefully, with a more positive outcome than what has already transpired.

I have listened to several AI-generated music covers. My initial reaction was one of considerable impressiveness, particularly regarding the reimagining of classic pop hits in diverse genres with novel arrangements. Here is one good example a-ha — Take On Me
However, after engaging with several such Ai generated song covers, a sense of emotional detachment emerged, attributable to the perceived absence of human artistry and genuine sentiment, resulting in a technically flawless yet ultimately soulless auditory experience.
Copyright in Crisis
What does the copyright law say about AI generated music, especially in field of music covers. Who is liable for copyright in this case, AI developers, people who used AI to generate music or people who published it on music platforms?
Recent lawsuits show that the music industry is pushing back hard:

This isn’t just about music. It’s about the future of art, storytelling, and human expression. If we allow machines to dominate creative spaces, we risk turning culture into content — optimized, monetized, and devoid of soul.
We must ask: Do we want a world where art is made by machines, or one where machines help humans make better art?
