I once heard my youth pastor talk about a cloud. I was very confused at what he meant but I soon realized what he was talking about. He was talking about how far your blessings may seem. Lately, all I've been seeing is struggles and fights. I haven't had something good come my way in a while. No one truly understands your struggle like God does. God knows how hard you fight for things. He knows you need Him more than anything.
I don't usually write about sermons, but then I heard but this one and it needed to be discussed. Being in such a low place and having my youth pastor tell me that there are things out there for me, I didn't know what he meant or where he was going with that, but I knew God had something to do with it. I didn't see my cloud, but he did. He saw my future and heard the thunder rolling in the distance. He knew God was about to pour out His rain on me and just let it flow.
I'm still waiting for my rain, but I know it's coming. I know it's in the distance because I can hear my thunder now. I can see the darker cloud filling up with rain. I know God is about to pour out something in my life. I just have to be patient and keep checking on my cloud. I'm gonna watch it every day and wait for that rain to pour down on me.
I thank God for giving my youth pastor the words to speak to me and give me hope that something better is coming. I'm so thankful that I have a God who will show me signs. I pray every day He hears each prayer and sees each time I give Him praise.
