They say the female mind is one of the most “confusing” entities to understand. Really, it’s not that hard at all. At least if you are a female, it all makes perfect sense. Like when she says “I don’t mind” but then gets angry when you choose. Or when she says “I’m fine” but then expects you to know that deep, deep down… she’s really, really angry. How can you get past all the talk, and look deep into her brain? Well, here a few simple things from my female perspective.
1. We don’t always say what we mean
The “no, I’m not angry” could mean just the opposite. The key is to look past the words, and try to look at the situation, her emotions and deep into her eyes. And that might very well be what certain girls want you to do. Why? I think it’s because it just feels better to be understood with no explanations needed.
2. We sometimes are emotional
Let’s face it, girls get emotional sometimes. It happens. We have a much harder life. Therefore, from time to time we just have to be left alone, or sympathized with. That will possibly solve the problem.
3. We might just want you to be happy
Some females just wish to please. In this case, when she says “you go ahead,” she really means it and would like you to have what you want. You being happy makes her happy, and that makes everyone happy.
4. We tend to not be assertive
For some females, assertiveness doesn’t come naturally. So when other people are more assertive, or if the girl is asked to be assertive, it can be intimidating. In other words, if someone were to say, “you choose” or “just make up your mind,” in her mind, this is a big demand and might be rather stressful to do.
5. Just don’t raise your voice, it’s scary
It can just be… intimidating. And that’s probably why she cried.
6. We often want the compliment
Don’t be afraid to compliment her, to talk to her, to show that you care. This is normally what she is looking for. Even if it doesn’t look like it at the time, it probably is.
7. When you don’t text back right away
Her getting angry at you for not texting back right away is probably not because she is a control freak or anything weird like that. You not texting her back could mean a couple different things: her last text offended you in some way; you don’t want to talk to her anymore, and thus don’t care anymore; or… you died. Her getting mad is probably just her sigh of relief.
8. Like anyone else, she just really won’t make sense sometimes
Sometimes you just have to realize, like everyone, sometimes we will say or do things that don’t make sense. This is possibly because we tend to act more off of our emotions, but there can be other reasons. Males have their days too.
So there you have it. We are readable, we just tend to communicate in different ways. Now maybe someone can explain the male mind, because to some of us, they can be just as confusing.
