We started as strangers, became friends, turned into family, and are now your live-in soul mates. With each room clad with letters and layered with rejected formal dresses, skirts, and lettered tanks. You hear during recruitment "live with your sisters if you have the chance." It became so redundant but the girls who say that aren't wrong. It's going to be the loudest, craziest, and most annoying time of your life. But it's also going to be the best.

You will make some of your best memories with these girls on those random Tuesday nights where you all huddled in someone's room giggling and telling stories. Here are 15 things you know to be true when living with your sorority sisters:

1. Your clothes are everyone's clothes.

This is the most cliche but it's still so true–if you don't get a "does anyone have a _______ top?" message every Thursday through Saturday, then it's not a real weekend.

2. The same goes for rooms.

Yeah, there may just be one place where you have a bed but there are at least four more rooms you can just walk into and sit as if you're home.

3. Fashion shows are all the time.

Whether you don't know what to wear out, to class, or on a special night out, 10 girls are at your service to give you their honest thoughts on every outfit combination possible.

4. Getting ready to go out can be more lit than the actual party.

Different music is blasting from every room while girls run around swapping shirts and doing their hair. No matter how the night turns out when you're getting ready, the vibes are always high.

5. Even when you want to go sleep early, you won't.

Just knowing your best friends are right down the hall forces you to spend all night talking and laughing together.

6. When a boy is in the area, you know.

It could be a sniff of man cologne or a deep voice heard from afar and all heads will turn. Who is that boy and what is he doing here?

7. You always have someone to eat with.

No this isn't just dinner, it's asking who wants popcorn and cookies at 3 a.m. just because.

8. Everyone knows the latest drama.

Every sister will know you cried in the middle of class three seconds after it happened... news travels fast.

9. The doors are never locked.

Open door policy all the time.

10. You have no alone time.

Even when you want to chill and watch Netflix in bed, there's a chance that multiple girls will be lounging around your room just to keep you company.

11. You can never sleep in.

Weekends don't equal late mornings, but your sisters busting in your room to drag you to breakfast or chanting that it's Game Day.

12. Speaking of Game Day...

You'll never have to repeat a t-shirt dress or cut up tank once throughout the season.

13. There's a low key line of girls waiting to take pictures before going out.

Everyone knows where the best lighting is and will not compromise a photo shoot by going elsewhere.

14. Help is just a yell away.

Chances are that you have a friend close by whenever disaster strikes that is ready and willing to help.

15. TV nights (aka "The Bachelor)" are sacred.

Find a spot by the television an hour early because the room is about to get packed.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
