As I write this article, my eyes keep closing. I could probably sleep for around three decades right now and still wake up tired. However, the reason why isn't a bad one.

Although my summer has consisted of a lot of working, it has also been full of adventures. Late night walks going Geocaching, spontaneous trips to the city, and early morning breakfast runs have been just a few things that have been taking up my agenda. I've been non-stop going, and even as tiring as it is, I wouldn't ever stop.

A lot of people tend to think that money is the most important thing in the world. While it is very important to obtain, support yourself, and continue to thrive with enough money to do so, living life is important too. Contrary to popular belief, we are not just puppets waiting for our next paycheck. We are meant to live and not just survive.

Most people reading this will take my words wrong and think that I'm saying you have to go do crazy things in order for it to count as adventuring. That, my friends, is incorrect. Adventuring could be anything from an all-inclusive vacation with your closest friends to exploring areas you never thought you would.

At the end of May/beginning of June, my best friend and I took a last-minute trip to Disney. We were planning a vacation and could not decide for the life of us where we wanted to go. After doing hefty research and finding the cheapest tickets, I smiled and knew we were in for a wild ride. The vacation was hilarious, memorable, and a bit stressful at times. It was well worth every penny, and it was time I couldn't have spent in a better place.

Even though it was a relatively expensive, not all adventures have to be like that. There's been times that my friends and I will walk around a park trail, go home, watch fun videos or play card games, and try to see who can stay up the longest. We didn't even have to go to a huge place, but the memories we made were still fun and unforgettable.

Recently, I even made a list of haunted or abandoned places I want to explore. Haunted things and ghost hunting is something a lot of my friends and I share a love for, so we go day by day crossing places off the list when we get the chance. It's a fun way to get out of the house and not spend any money.

You never know when your last day is going to be or what tomorrow could bring. Maybe your old high school will close down or your favorite place to go bowling could become abandoned or torn down and replaced with something not nearly as fun. Therefore, you should always jump at the opportunity to have an adventure.

Buy the concert tickets if they're in your price range, you don't want to miss it. Some artists only do one tour every few years and could avoid your area due to bigger venues.

If you have the money, go away on vacation with a friend or two. I promise, you won't regret it, and it'll steadily be a highlight of your year.

Make a few mistakes here and there, you can't call life "life" without doing so.

Drive to somewhere relatively new and have your windows down (with your friends' heads out of them) and your music up. If you have the time in the day, spare it.

Love like you've never been hurt. You're only getting older and it's important to give people chances today that you might not see tomorrow.

Go skinny dipping, skydiving, late night driving, scavenger hunting, fishing, and anything else that involves 'ing' to cross of your adventure list.

No matter where you go or what you do, if you surround yourself with the right people, life becomes one big adventure.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
