Your freshman year of college, living in the dorms on campus may seem like the best thing ever for a while. You can hang out with your friends whenever you want, the freedom is limitless, and even the dining hall food is fine for a while. However, by the time May rolls around, your sophomore year can't come soon enough. While renting apartments and houses is an extremely viable option, choosing to live in your sorority's on-campus house may just be the best decision you make. Between food cooked by a chef to sleepovers with your best friends every night, here's why living in a sorority house is an amazing experience that you shouldn't pass up.
Sharing clothes is the best thing ever
When you are living in a sorority house, one of the best things ever is being able to share closets with everyone. Need the perfect shirt to match that skirt or a certain pair of shoes? Someone probably has it.
The food is leagues above the dining halls
Your freshman year, you get used to dealing with the dining halls on campus if you live in a dorm. When you're living in your sorority house, not only do you have the snacks and fridge, but the lunches and dinners made by a chef.
Close to your classes and in the heart of campus
Many sorority houses are located close to many of your classes, so being late is impossible, and your walk is cake.
No plans? No problem
If its a Friday night and you have no plans, someone is always up for a movie night (or a "Bachelor" watch party).
Study buddies by the dozen
Someone is always down to go to the library and get stuff DONE, head to a coffee shop, or just do work in the house! Living in your sorority house gives you even more motivation to be scholarly.
