It may be hard to do, but we should start living life in the moment and while we can.

All of us have such busy lives. We focus on the stress, anger, and negative things that come with our responsibilities. We are only worried about looking ahead, what is to come, and stress associated with that. Oftentimes, we don't stop and think about the moment we are living in. It may be hard to do, but we should start living life in the moment and while we can.

Life is unpredictable; you never know what'll happen. You can't know when you'll die, when you'll get a serious illness, or when you'll lose a loved one. Something can happen at any given moment. When you take a step back and look at the big picture, it can seem almost trivial to be worried and stressed about minor things in your life rather than focusing on the positives and what you have in the moment.

Yes, we all have responsibilities that need to be accomplished. We have bills to pay, classes to take, people to support. But in the midst of how hectic life gets, it's important to stop, focus on the moment we are in, and try and enjoy life while we are here.

It's hard to try not to worry about things. It's inevitable that we all will get stressed and frustrated over life; however, we should try not to dwell on these bad moments. It's also easy to worry about the future and what will happen. While it's important to look ahead and plan accordingly, don't look so far ahead that you lose sight of everything that's going on around you.

Take time out of your busy, hectic, stressful life to have a fun moment. Read a book. Travel. Visit family or friends. Explore the world around you. Do everything you dream about while you can. Spend your life gaining as many experiences and happy moments as you can. You will never regret living in the moment and enjoying time with loved ones while you can. What you will regret, however, is spending too much time worried about the little things that don't really matter.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
