Robert Brault is famous for his quote that says, “Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”
It’s easy to take advantage of everything life has to offer, but that doesn’t mean we should. When times get tough, our minds may focus on the negative things instead of remembering the positive ones. Especially in the overwhelming and busy world we live in, simple things are often hard to relate to and remember.
Taking time to have gratitude for the small things will bring you happiness. Instead of focusing on things that are annoying, hurtful or frustrating, practice gratitude for the little things that make you happy.
We’re often told that bigger is better, but this is not always the case. Some of the most wonderful things in life are the “little” things. To put this into perspective for you, I created a list of some of my favorite “little” things that bring me happiness.
