1. Read a book.
2. Or read a couple.
3. Master the cooking of a really hard meal.
4. Or learn how to make a bunch of easy ones.
5. Eat an apple every day. Or some kind of fruit or vegetable.
6. Start your day an hour earlier. You'd be surprised at how helpful it could be.
7. Dedicate an hour a week to free writing. Even if it's just scribbles or nonsense, it's a good way to express yourself.
8. Find a new band or artist that you really like. There are a million out there that you could love and not even know about.
9. Learn some of their songs. Maybe even go to a concert.
10. Call your mom more.
11. Or your dad.
12. Or your grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and siblings. They'll appreciate it.
13. Find a new hairstyle. Because it's possible that you've been going your whole life without the right one.
14. Save a small amount of money every week and spend it on something extravagant at the end of the year. Maybe that camera you always wanted or a little weekend getaway.
15. Try a food that you've never eaten.
16. Try a food you ate when you were little and didn't like. Your tastebuds change every few years so you could be missing out.
17. Go to more free school-sponsored activities. They'll get you out of the dorm without breaking your wallet.
18. Try and do your homework the day it's assigned instead of the day before it's due to avoid falling behind.
19. Listen to your discover weekly on Spotify. Maybe you'll find something good.
20. Learn how to make a cake from scratch. Or brownies. Or cookies. Your grandma would be proud.
21. Learn how to knit or crochet. Your grandma would be even prouder.
22. Deal with stress by painting instead of binge-watching Netflix to make you feel more productive.
23. Keep your room clean by putting things away as soon as your done with them, instead of letting the mess pile up.
24. Explore New Jersey. Who say's traveling only counts when it's a plane ride away? There are a bunch of free landmarks and state parks all around us that are free and still have breathtaking views.
25. Go to a random movie with your best friends without worrying about the rating or previews. Anything is enjoyable with the right company.
26. Try that restaurant that always caught your eye.
27. Make a happy playlist to start your day with. It sets the mood for your whole day.
28. Spend a day in New York City. There are so many awesome things there that you might not have known about and some of them are cheaper than you think.
29. Try and say something nice to someone every day. Not only will it make their day brighter, but yours too.
30. Volunteer at least once. There are a bunch of charities that could use your help.
