A List Of 6 Really Annoying Driving Pet Peeves

As a young adult, I automatically get a bad reputation as a reckless driver. I’m here to prove that people of any age, any human being for that matter, can be horrible drivers. I get that sometimes you're in a rush or what have you, but there are too many things that aggravate me. Some of these are just plain dangerous while other things are just due to people’s laziness. Either way, I see the things on this list way too much, and they are just too annoying not to share.

When there are shopping carts in a store parking lot.

It is the pure laziness that makes me hate the people who do this. The cart holders are in the parking lot for a reason, so don’t make me worry about seeing a scratch on my car after I shop.

Four way intersections where people don't pay attention.

It’s awkward when four cars are all stopped at the same time. If I am giving you the hand wave or flashing my headlights, go. Let’s get this intersection over with safely ASAP.

That person who honks within one second of a red light turning green.

I actually don't care if tIm not the person who is getting honked at. They’re just doing what everyone wants to do to a car who isn't paying attention to the traffic light.

People that pass you on a road with one lane.

If we’re not driving on a highway or a road with me than one lane, you are just being annoying. If you're in a rush, thats your problem.

Bicycle riders.

I know you're trying to stay active and/or save the Earth, but seeing you on a road gives me anxiety. Until there are bike lanes, just drive a car please.

People with road rage.

People do dumb things on the road, but laying on the horn for more than 3 seconds isn't necessary. Keep your middle fingers to yourselves, my mistake probably wasn't that big of a deal, so chill.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
