Star-studded, award-winning composer, lyricist, and theatric performer, Lin-Manuel Miranda is everything, and more.

However, before Manuel astounded the world with Hamilton, he brought his writing to Twitter where he gave his followers meaningful, hilarious, and uplifting good morning and good night posts that left readers inspired and craving more of his elevating words of support.

So, he, alongside illustrator Jonny Sun, collected his most impactful greetings into an illustrated book entitled "Gmorning, Gnight! Little Pep Talks for Me & You," where he provides over 200 pages full of expressive and loving pep talks for people struggling with various aspects of their life.

Since receiving this book at Christmastime, I have literally never been more gracious towards an author. Every morning and every night, I read Manuel's words, and I feel a sense of comfort while my mind explodes with a motivation that unquestionably helps me progress through both the good and the bad days that spring into existence.

Over a span of several weeks, divulging into this collection of advice and love, I have bookmarked messages that sincerely resonate with my life and an array of my daily troubles, and I share them with you in hopes of comforting your mind and erasing the worries that fill your own mind.

1. When you wake up feeling defeated. The day has just begun.

"Gmorning!
You're gonna make mistakes.
You're gonna fail.
You're gonna get back up.
You're gonna break hearts.
You're gonna change minds.
You're gonna make noise.
You're gonna make music.
You're gonna be late, let's GO."

2. If night arrives and negative thoughts swarm your mind. Rest. Tomorrow will be different.

"Gnight.
Doubts may grow as shadows loom,
when you're alone with your thoughts.
Plant music, art, pics of the one you love
in the darkest corners.
Harvest the fruits of your daydreams and rest.
Water and sunlight to the best in you."

3. When life appears to be getting the best of you. Slow down.

"Gmorning.
This feeling will pass.
This workload will pass.
These people will pass.
But look at you, with the gift of memory.
You can time travel to the good stuff just by
closing your eyes & breathing.
Then come right back to now, eyes up for
the good stuff ahead.
You magic thing."

4. If, at the end of today, your mind is telling you that you failed. Don't listen.

"Gnight.
I dunno exactly how to tell you this,
but
you're not perfect.
You never will be.
You keep growing and messing up
and learning,
and today's f**kup becomes a
turning point once you survive it
and see it behind you.
You leave perfect in the DUST,
love, you keep going."

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
