A mother slowly lifts her new born
She grasps her bobby head.
Now her lips are worn,
From kissing her as she's tucked into bed.
When children chase and dare
It's bound to appear,
That they will swear
Their kiss shall be kept for a year.
They laughed and played, then held hands
He kneed and she accepted
As they kiss they now have future plans.
Both waked along like they were mended.
She walks down the aisle with her father
He lifts her veil and their faces meet.
The new husband and wife kiss softer
They will always have other couples beat.
As the pair traveled through life,
They knew it was coming.
He said goodbye with a final kiss to his wife.
The last touch was too numbing.
The process of a kiss will always be present
It may posses a hello or love
The peck is always sweet and pleasant
They even come from Above.
