It's a Christmas tale most people have heard: How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The real-life adaptation of the Grinch shows a character you can relate to more than people would like to admit.

1. When you've embarrassed yourself in public

You play the scenario out in your head over and over again. How could you do something so stupid? You stay up in bed and think about it; even if it happened six years ago.

2. When you're getting dressed for a night out

Even if you just bought new clothes, you just have absolutely nothing to wear - you can't go out. Maybe it's the lack of clothing options or maybe it's the horrible idea of interacting with others.

3. When a minor inconvenience happens in your life

You're not dramatic you tell yourself, but your friends think differently. And something happens: you've hit a bump in the road. You just don't know how you can move past it.

4. After a rough day

You're perturbed after the events of the day, there's nothing else you can do except:

5. When you go out in public

You can't believe it, you're seeing actual human beings. Maybe you don't hate the specific people, maybe you just hate yourself for leaving the comforts of your own home.

6. When you've canceled four nights in a row with your friends so they don't invite you for night number five

7. When you decide you should go out

You figure what's the harm of one night out on the town.

8. Eh, but people aren't you're thing

After the amazing night you and your friends had, they want to go out again. But, you yourself need at least 2 weeks of rest and recuperation.

9. When you catch feelings for a romantic interest

What do you do?!?! You've told yourself over and over you're incapable of feeling but here you are. You feel sick to your stomach, someone needs to take you to the hospital.

10. After opening your third bag of chips of the hour

Sometimes you've just gotta eat.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
